Payment & Security Policy

We know handing over card details online can feel a bit nerve-wracking. Here's exactly how we handle your payments and what we do to keep them safe.

How you can pay

• Credit & Debit cards – Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Amex

• UPI – Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any UPI app you use

• Net Banking – works with all major Indian banks

• Cash on Delivery – available in select pin codes, a small COD fee may apply

• Wallets – including Paytm and other supported options 

Yes, your payment really is secure

Every transaction on ireaders.in runs through Shopify's secure payment gateway, which follows PCI-DSS security standards. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or net banking password on our end; that data goes straight to our certified payment partners, encrypted.

• Look for the padlock icon and “https” in your browser that means the page is SSL-secured.

• Our payment partners are RBI-approved for handling UPI, card, and net banking payments.

• Card payments go through 3D Secure / OTP verification, as required by RBI rules.

After you pay

Once your payment goes through, you'll get an order confirmation by WhatsApp and/or email with your Order ID. If money got deducted but you didn't receive a confirmation, please don't place a second order just message us at ireadercustomercare@gmail.com or call +91-9217173337 with your payment reference number, and we'll sort it out. 

If a payment fails or stays pending

Sometimes a payment shows “failed” or “pending” even after money leaves your account. This usually reverses automatically within [5–7] business days. If it doesn't, send us your bank statement and transaction ID, and we'll chase it up with the payment gateway on your behalf.

A few things to keep in mind

• Never share your card PIN, CVV, OTP, or net banking password with anyone. We will never ask for these over call or WhatsApp, no matter who claims to be from iReaders.

• Make sure that the website you are on is ireaders.in before keying in any payment details.

• Always log out after you've made your payments, In particular if you are using a communal or public device.
